One of the core missions of the Viticulture and Enology Alumni Association is providing support to the V.E. Petrucci Library.  The library, embedded within the Department of Viticulture and Enology at Fresno State, is dedicated to serving the faculty and students of the Department, the interested community, and the grape, wine, and raisin industry.   The library is proud to be committed to this mission, and to excel in providing reference and research services to our patrons.

Success in the past: In 2014, former chair and director for Fresno State’s viticulture and enology program Dr. Robert Wample and wife Pam Wample challenged the VEAA, in partnership with the Department and library,  with a challenge gift of $40,000.  We are pleased to announce that we were able to raise $92,330 in response to this challenge.  Every dollar donated to the VEAA in 2014 was matched by this donation. making every dollar  twice as valuable to the VEAA and the V.E. Petrucci Library.   We are grateful to all of our supporters.

The VEAA has also been excited about the donations that have been received by our viticulture and enology students and student organizations.  According to VEAA officer Jon Holmquist,  “Their vocal support and hard work are great to see”.  The time and dollars they’ve given shows how much students value the library.”  The VEAA is pleased to continue to support and work with students for this cause.

Donations will continue to contribute to the annual support the library.
